What exactly does a berth transfer cover?

A transfer concerns the right to use a specified berth for the dates in an eligible stay, subject to the marina’s conditions. It is not a sale of a boat, property or permanent berth ownership.

Can I reserve a berth by placing an example bid?

No. The interactive examples let you enter an amount, review it and see your own practice bid. They do not create an offer, reservation or payment. Example bids reset when you reload the page.

How do I check the boat will fit?

Open the linked marina map and inspect the marked place. Ask the marina to confirm the official berth number, maximum length and beam, accepted vessel draft and approach clearances. A boat outline or satellite photograph does not establish those limits.

Are the example dates and amounts marina offers?

No. They illustrate the steps for a specific saved map position. They do not establish current availability, a marina rate or anyone’s permission to sell a stay.

Who can offer a stay for transfer?

A booking holder needs an eligible confirmed stay and the marina’s permission under the applicable booking and transfer conditions. Start with your booking record and ask the marina what can be transferred before advertising it.

What happens after an auction ends?

A real auction needs an agreed transfer process, checks by the marina and completed settlement before a new guest can treat a stay as confirmed. The examples on this page stop at an illustrative bid outcome.
